Announcements and Staff Information
Creating an Announcement
- Within a course site, click Control Panel
- Click Announcements in the Course Tools area

Click Add Announcement button (top left corner)
- Enter a Subject
- Enter text in the Message text box
- Select desired settings in the Options section
- Optional: To create a Course Link, click Browse next to the Location text box, and select the course location to link to
- Optional: To email this announcement to all Blackboard users, click the checkbox
- Click Submit
- Click OK
Modifying an Announcement
- Within a course site, click Control Panel
- Click Announcements in the Course Tools area
- Find the announcement you wish to modify and select the Modify button (on the right)
- Make changes as needed
- Click Submit
- Click OK
- Click OK
Creating a Staff Profile
- Within a course site, click Control Panel
- Click Staff Information in the Course Tools area
- Click Profile (top action bar)
- Enter Profile Information
- Select desired settings in the Options section (Note: An Image and/or a Personal Link can be added)
- Click Submit
- Click OK
