The General University Labs and Classrooms are configured so that My Documents on the Desktop point to the folders and files on the U: drive which is available automatically after login. This means that files and documents are accessible from labs and classrooms utilizing the user’s personal U: drive.
The General University Lab and Classroom computers are configured so that IE (Internet Explorer) Favorites are retained in a folder on the U: drive which is available automatically after login. IE Favorites saved in a particular classroom or lab will be accessible from all other classrooms and labs utilizing the user’s personal U: drive.
Classroom computers are used by many people, thus are vulnerable to unintentional changes. At times, repairs are needed, and the computer may need to be temporarily swapped out for service. Here are some good places to backup your instructional materials:
