Classroom and Computer Lab Services
Meet the staff members who...
- design and maintain computer labs and classrooms
- purchase, install and maintain equipment and software in classrooms and computer labs
- provide faculty and students with orientation in classroom technologies
- provide portable media equipment for classes and other academic-related events
- assist students, staff and faculty with wireless computing across campus
- purchase and manage software licenses for university facilities and offices
Organization
Rob Galbraith, ATUS Assistant Director, provides administrative and budgetary oversight for Classroom and Computer Lab Services.
Coordinating day-to-day operations, Nancy Grayum oversees scheduling, faculty outreach, orientation and classroom support. Gary Malick and Jerry Huddle, Media Maintenance Technicians handle field work, consulting, repairs and installation, while Terry Dayton, Media Engineer, manages the design, purchase, and installation process for renovations and new installations of media equipment.
Software installations are engineered by a mix of team members in ATUS, including Bill O'Neil for Macs and Chris Powell for Windows with coordination being provided by Gary Malick, Nancy Grayum, Kevin Dixey, Susan Brown and Terry Dayton.
Susan Brown manages the Software Services office, handling all purchasing, licensing and distribution in addition to consulting with departments purchasing software.
