Where To Print

Black/white printing is available in all general university labs, Wilson Library, the Student Technology Center, and some departmental labs.

Color printing is available in the Student Technology Center.

What Does It Cost To Print?

Printing in general computer labs and many departmental labs at Western is provided via a pay-for-print program.

Print Quota

The Student Technology Fee provides a free quota of 50 black/white prints per student per quarter. Color prints will be charged from the quota at $.25 per page.

How To Add Print Funds

Funds can be added to your Print Balance using cash or credit card. Funds deposited by cash or credit will be available as long as you are enrolled.

Cash Print Deposit Stations

Cash deposits can be made at the locations below. No additional fees are charged. The entire deposit is credited to the paid print balance.

Web Print Deposit Program

Amounts from $5 to $40 can be securely deposited to your WWU paid print balance using VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. A credit card transaction fee of $1.00 is charged with each deposit. This fee is the amount charged to the university by the bank and credit card service provider. Cash deposits with no transaction fees can be made at the three physical print deposit stations listed above.

Refund Procedure

Refunds for balances of $3.00 or more are granted when your account has been incorrectly charged or when graduating or leaving Western. Please monitor your balance to be sure that the balance is sufficient but not excessive.
