iPhone configuration for WWU Faculty/Staff email

Follow these steps to configure your iPhone to access your Faculty/Staff.

1. Select the Settings icon from your home screen.

2. Select Mail > Contacts > Calendars from the Settings screen.

3. Select the Add Account... button.

4. Select Microsoft Exchange account type.

5. On the Exchange screen enter:

Email: your WWU email address
Username: wwu\userID
Password: your Universal password
Description: WWU Exchange

And select the Next button.

NOTE: Pay special attention to the backwards slash character. Your userID is your WWU Universal Username.

6. Your device may not successfully autodiscover your account settings. If it does not, you will be asked for a specific server address. Enter web.cms.wwu.edu.

7.You must accept the certificate for web.cms.wwu.edu since WWU's self-signed certificate does not come pre-loaded on your device.

8.Your device is now connected to the WWU Faculty/Staff email system. Your will be asked to select which features you want to sychronize to your device. Select Save and your device will begin to download the selected data.
