Microsoft Entourage is WWU's supported Mac client for Faculty/Staff email. With this document, you will be able to setup Entourage on your computer to connect to our Exchange servers and manage your mail, calendars, and more.
Please realize that you must have Office installed on your Mac in order to use
Entourage. If you do not have Office, contact Software Services at 360-650-3159 in
order to obtain a copy.
If you find that everything is correct but Entourage will still not function correctly, contact the Help Desk.
Q: I don’t like Entourage! Do I have any other options?
A: If you prefer not to use Entourage, you can use Outlook Web Access at http://www.wwu.edu/outlook. You may also use any SSL-enabled IMAP client, such as Mac Mail.app, to connect to web.cms.wwu.edu. For help setting up such a client, contact the Help Desk.
Q: Can I use an Outlook PST file in Entourage?
A: Unfortunately, no. Entourage has its own file format, and cannot make use of PSTs. It does, however, have "On My Computer" folder that will store emails locally to your hard drive, just like Outlook's PST files.
Q: I’ve looked in the Entourage preferences, but couldn’t find Junk E-Mail anywhere. How do I change my Junk E-Mail settings?
A: "Junk E-Mail Protection" can be access through Tools on the menu bar.
