ATUS Public Office - Miller Hall 155
The ATUS Public Office is a central referral and information desk for your questions about all sorts of technology support on campus. Start here if you have questions about computing, video services, graphics services, or media equipment.
Beginner guides and help sheets for UNIX systems, e-mail, modem connections and other online programs are available at the distribution center in the Public Office.

Media Services/Equipment Loan - Miller Hall 155
Media equipment is available to students for use in classes, with authorization from a faculty instructor. A 24-hour loan period allows availability to the greatest number of people. Stop by the Public Office in Miller Hall 155 or call x3300 to reserve equipment and to obtain the authorization card for your instructor to complete.

Student consultants are available to assist you with software and connectivity questions at the Help Desk office. Visit the ATUS Help Desk web page for handouts and free software.

General University Computer Labs

Each lab operates on a network which provides the most current academic, office, and Internet software versions available. You will also find:

Academic Department Labs
Many academic departments operate computer labs with specialized software which is used in their courses. Check with your advisor or ask at departmental offices.

Remote Access
If you live on campus, University Residences' ResTek department will provide you with a packet of information about connecting with modems or ethernet, and other technology services in campus housing facilities on the day you check in.

If you live off campus, you can access the academic computing systems at WWU by using the off-campus student modem pool, 647-6200. Downloadable software is available on the Help Desk web page.
