For academic institutions only, Adobe has a concurrent licensing model based on the number of simultaneous users accessing the software program from a networked environment rather than a standard per-user or per-workstation model.

Concurrent licenses are more expensive per license than individual licenses, but because they can be installed on more workstations than licenses, the per-workstation cost is actually lower.

The Campus Concurrent Program may benefit you if

you need to purchase the Adobe CS4 Design Premium or Adobe CS4 Photoshop Extended CS4
you work at a university-owned networked workstation and do not need the work-at-home benefit
you want or need to use the latest software for new features, compatibility issues, or requirements to be familiar with up-to-date software versions

The Campus Concurrent Program

is available for Adobe Photoshop Extended CS4 and the Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium bundle which includes Photoshop Ext CS4, Illustrator CS4, InDesign CS4, Acrobat Pro 9, Flash Pro CS4, Dreamweaver CS4, and Fireworks CS4
