What Is Licensed?
The Western Washington University IBM SPSS Campus Value Program for the 2011-2012 academic year (Aug 1, 2011 - July 31, 2012) includes
- SPSS Statistics Base, Advanced Statistics and Regression for Windows and Macintosh
- SPSS Amos for Windows
- Work-at-home licenses for faculty, staff and students
SPSS License Terms - Who can use SPSS?
WWU faculty, students and staff may use SPSS Statistics and SPSS Amos for teaching and non-commercial academic research.
Is there a cost for SPSS?
The cost of WWU's annual IBM Campus Value Program is divided among SPSS users.
The contribution for the 2011-2012 academic year has been made for faculty, staff and student work stations in these groups:
- College of Humanities and Social Sciences
- College of Business and Economics
- College of Sciences and Technology
- Woodring College of Education
- Huxley College of the Environment
- Academic Technology and User Services (for general university labs and classrooms)
Cost for university-owned workstations not in the groups above: $50 per workstation for the period Aug 1, 2011 - July 31, 2012

- SPSS Statistics 19 for Windows & Macintosh
(installed in general university labs) - SPSS Statistics 18 for Windows
- SPSS Amos 19 for Windows
(installed in general university labs) - SPSS Amos 20 for Windows
Where is SPSS Available
- All general university labs and some departmental labs and student workstations
- faculty and staff offices by request
- home computers owned by licensed faculty, staff and students by request
