What Is Licensed?

The Western Washington University IBM SPSS Campus Value Academic Program for the 2014-2015 academic year (July 1, 2014 - June 30, 2015) includes

SPSS License Terms - Who can use SPSS?

WWU faculty and students may use SPSS Statistics and SPSS Amos for teaching and non-commercial academic research.

Is there a cost for SPSS?

The cost of WWU's annual IBM Campus Value Program is divided among SPSS users.

The contribution for the 2014-2015 academic year has been made for faculty, staff and student work stations in these groups:

    • College of Humanities and Social Sciences
    • College of Business and Economics
    • College of Sciences and Technology
    • Woodring College of Education
    • Huxley College of the Environment
    • Shannon Point Marine Center
    • Academic Technology and User Services (for general university labs and classrooms)
    • Student Technology Center

The cost for faculty or student-use university-owned workstations not in the groups above: $100 per workstation for the period July 1, 3014 - June 30, 2015

  • SPSS Statistics 22/21/20 for Windows & Macintosh
    (SPSS 22 will be installed in general university labs for 2014-2015)
  • SPSS Amos 22 for Windows

  • SPSS Visualization Designer 1.03 for Windows

  • All general university labs and some departmental labs and student workstations
  • faculty and staff offices by request (fee may apply)
  • home computers owned by licensed faculty and students by request
