To add a new page to your website, select the New Page button at the top of your screen:
You will next select the Template that you'd like to base this page on, then the Page Title that you want for this page. Template refers to the layout option - for the WWU template this is either the "full_content" (like this page with no right column) or "sidebar" which includes the sidebar with news / links.

The page title is actually the filename that the page will be stored as. Do not use capital letters, periods, or spaces, keep the names meaningful and short and use underscore or dash if you have to separate parts of the filename. For example: "staffpage" is better than "Staff Page" or "staff_page" but "staff" is better still. "staffdirectory" may be more descriptive if you have more than one staff page.

Contribute has a browse mode where you can look at pages, navigate around either by using the Address bar or by clicking on links within the displayed page. Once you have navigated to the page you're interested in editing, you're ready to make your modifications. Select Edit Page from the top menu bar.
Highlight the areas you want to change or put your cursor in the area you want to add to. Type your changes or use the menu bar to insert images or links.
There will be areas of the page you cannot edit such as navigation, banners, footers - these areas are controlled by "included files" which are shared by the whole site. You will need to edit these separately, but remember they affect the whole site. Since these are not stand-alone pages you will not be able to navigate to them, you will have to type in their addresses in the Address bar just above the browse / edit window. If you're using the WWU Template, these addresses will be useful:
