New ATUS Director
Dr. Frank C. Roberts is the new Director of Academic Technology and User Services as of September 4, 2007.

Roberts has been the Dean of Information Technology and Distance Education at Skagit Valley College since 2004, overseeing a staff of 20 in support of all information technology services, including network services, the Help Desk, all college web sites, distance education, instructional design, interactive television (ITV), media services, and all technology-based labs across campus.
He has a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from Pennsylvania State University and over 20 years experience in higher education and business & industry. He served as Associate Professor in Woodring College of Education, WWU, for 8 years, teaching Instructional Design and Multimedia Development in the M.Ed program, serving concurrently as the Director of the Center for Interactive Multimedia for Education and Training.
In addition to his leadership and team-building skills, Dr. Roberts brings much experience in research and development and in the implementation of broad-based instructional and administrative technology initiatives.
