Publishing a Website from Your Office or Computer Lab

If you are working on campus, the easiest way to publish your website is by going directly through your U: Drive. To access your U: drive when you are logged onto a campus computer, you can do the following:

  1. On your desktop, double-click on the “My Computer” icon.

    My Computer
  2. A list of drives will appear; double-click on the U: Drive.

  3. You can put any type of files that you want to on your U: Drive, but it is important to remember that all of the pages for your web site must be kept in a specific folder entitled “myweb”. If all of the files for your web site are not in this folder, then your web site will not work correctly. In the U: Drive, check to see that you have a folder reading exactly “myweb”.

  8. Double-click on your “myweb” folder.
