If you are working on campus, the easiest way to publish your website is by going directly through your U: Drive. To access your U: drive when you are logged onto a campus computer, you can do the following:
- On your desktop, double-click on the “My Computer” icon.

- A list of drives will appear; double-click on the U: Drive.

- You can put any type of files that you want to on your U: Drive, but it is important to remember that all of the pages for your web site must be kept in a specific folder entitled “myweb”. If all of the files for your web site are not in this folder, then your web site will not work correctly. In the U: Drive, check to see that you have a folder reading exactly “myweb”.
- If you do not have the “myweb” folder, you will need to create it.
In the menu, click on File > New > Folder.
- A new folder will appear; name it “myweb”.
- Double-click on your “myweb” folder.
- Copy all of the files for your web site from their existing location and move them into the “myweb” folder. Be sure that your homepage is named “index.html”.

- Students: To view your web, visit http://myweb.students.wwu.edu/username where “username” is your universal username.
Faculty and Staff: To view your web, visit http://faculty. wwu.edu/username or http://staff.wwu.edu/username where “username” is your universal username.
