We have updated the Western Template to closely match the style of the Western homepage. During fall term 2011 ATUS began retrofitting sites on the old template to the new look. Those who request a new site on the campus servers will automatically be provided with the new template as well.
ATUS believes that as departmental webmasters your obligation is to provide accurate content rather than perform custom design from scratch. This template should allow you to concentrate on your content while getting the benefits of matching the new Western look.
This latest version of the Western Template comes with four possible layouts that can be selected for any page in your site.
A photo gallery and slideshow template are also included. In addition, a home page called index.shtml is included although you can make your own from any of the provided templates.
You can see implementation of the newest template on the following sites (among others):
Our template is available to any department, club, or individual and provides the following capabilities:
If you have questions or wish to use the template, please contact Web Services via e-mail at webhelp@wwu.edu.
