Recommendations accompanying the document encourage
faculty to consider the use of licensed electronic
databases and electronic reserves as key instructional
resources. Appropriate use of Blackboard is usually
to provide a link to the resources available at
the library rather than to duplicate that resource
within your course site. Web Services and University
Library staff can help you implement the links
between these resources should you need assistance.
A complete list of contacts is listed on the Guidelines
document.
The guidelines also describe the pros and cons
for a wide variety of source materials. We encourage
you to review these options and seek assistance
should you have any questions about using copyright
materials in your classroom.
