New items available for checkout at ATUS classroom services

The Classroom Services’ loan pool in Haggard Hall 114 has several new items available for check out this fall. In the video camera realm we have eight new Canon Vixia video cameras (model HFM 400). These are hi-definition camcorders that are totally digital. The cameras save your video files to SD (Secure Digital) type memory cards.

In the digital photography area, there are four new Canon Mark 2, 5 D digital SLR cameras. This brings the total number of Mark 2s in the pool to 10. These are 21 megapixel camera bodies that save to 32 gigabyte compact flash cards. They can shoot video as well.

In the laptop computer area, there are 32 new Dell E 6420 laptops and 20 MacBook Pros.

Other miscellaneous items include camera mount stereo microphones, fluid head tripods, camera mount lights, and a Glidecam video stabilizer.

All of these items were purchased with funds provided by the Student Technology Fee program. They are available for check out by any WWU student for course related projects.
