Title: Fairhaven City Water and Power Company ledger book
 
Description: Incorporated in 1890, the Fairhaven City Water and Power Company supplied water and power to Fairhaven, using Lake Padden as its source. In municipal elections held in December 1925, the city voted to buy out the company. This collection comprises one financial ledger from the company dated 1915-1923.

Title: Faulkner (J. Kaye) papers
 
Description: These papers were collected by former Western Washington University Economics Professor J. Kaye Faulkner. Much of the collection relates to technocracy, a political/economic movement that arose in the 1930s based on the idea that the American government and economy should be managed according to principles derived from science and engineering. There are also records dealing with Faulkner's involvement with the American Federation of Teachers union and his interest in general education labor issues.

Title: Friday (W.R. (Bill)) Papers
 
Description: The collection includes original and duplicate copies of cartoons and illustrations drawn by Bend, Oregon cartoonist, W.R. (Bill) Friday from the 1970s through the 1990s which chronicle regional political activity in this era. The collection also includes a 2000 calendar featuring Friday's drawings relating to the Forest Fire Lookout Association, and a copy of the published volume "The Thin Black Line: 30 Years of Cartooning" by Bill Friday.

Title: Funk (Wallie V.) photographs and papers
 
Description: The collection contains photographs, negatives, newspaper articles, proof sheets, mock-ups, and textual materials documenting the personal and professional life of Pacific Northwest resident, journalist, and photographer, Wallie V. Funk. Funk co-owned and was managing editor of three independent newspapers: the Anacortes American, the Whidbey New-Times, and the South Whidbey Record, from 1950-1989. The bulk of the collection documents Funk's professional career and civic involvements.
