Title: Ladies' Cooperative Society records
 
Description: The Ladies' Cooperative Society of Bellingham endeavored to advance the best interests of the region, the United States, and the world. They sought to arouse an interest in the industries and trade of the community, adopting the slogan "Patronize Home Industry." The Society hoped to solidify and promote mutual business interests in the area, and to correct any existing business policies that tended toward weakness and disintegration. Title: Larrabee family papers
 
Description: The Larrabee family papers contain records documenting the interests and activities of a prominent family in Bellingham, Washington. The collection spans the period 1840-2005, with the bulk of materials dated between 1890 and 1994. The collection comprises business records, personal papers, photographs, architectural drawings, and property and real estate records reflecting the activities of businessman Charles X. Larrabee and family members including Frances Payne, Charles Francis, Edward Payne and Consuelo McMillan Larrabee. Business records document Larrabee involvement with the Fairhaven Land Company, Brook-Nook Stock Ranche and the Roslyn-Cascade Coal Company, and include correspondence generated by Charles X. Larrabee’s private secretary, Cyrus Gates. Personal papers include genealogical information and personal correspondence generated by individual family members.

Title: Leedy Family Papers
 
Description: The papers of Clifford and Dorothy Leedy are arranged chronologically. The papers document the early history of the Leedy and Dowling families. Dorothy Leedy's records concern her People-to-People tours including pilot tours through the U.S.S.R. and India with area high school students. Clifford's portion of the collection contains extensive written materials and photos regarding his early college career music tours, teaching, including the Bellingham High School bands and tours, culminating in the 1956-1957 Rose Bowl tour. The collection also includes various materials on Dorothy and Clifford's early school, professional, and community work.

Description: The Leopold Hotel in Bellingham, Washington was originally named the Byron hotel but was renamed in honor of Leopold Schmidt, financial backer and heaviest stockholder in the Byron Hotel. These records are fragmented and in no way cover the long glorious life of the Leopold Hotel.The collection includes corporate records, financial records, and personnel records from the 1940's-1970's.There is early bondholder and stockholder information for the 1920's. The collection has a wealth of information about two of the hotels managers John C. Pierce(1936-60) and George Knowles(1960-1979)....
