Title: Royal Development Company (Trinity Mine) Records

Description: The records of the Royal Development Company document the use of material and labor at the Royal Developments' Trinity Mine, with particular emphasis on day-to-day operations of the mine. Timesheets, Daily reports of operation, shift reports, and mill reports documents labor and supplies used in the mining of copper. The records cover the years 1923-1945, however, the material is sporadic after 1936. There is also a large collection of supply and tally books which show the amount of material stocked and bought at the company store. These records are complete and cover the period between 1923 and 1933. Accident and Injury reports are also included which document the frequency and severity of mining injuries suffered by workers. A fairly good record has been kept of the mining equipment of the period including manuals and catalogs from manufacturers. 109 individual maps and plans give details of the mine and the equipment used.
