Description: Street scene, unpaved street with shops on either side. Caption written across bottom reads: "Elk Street Looking South from Maple," and the number 888 in the left corner. Shown on the left side of the street is a shop called Globe Clothing House-Furnishing Goods with clothing hung outside on display. In the distance is a building with a sign that says "Sehome." On the right side of the street is a sign that reads "D. Champlain & Thomas Real Estate Insurance." The building beside it has "Hardware" written across it. There are people and a horse and buggy in the distance. There is a stamp on the reverse side that reads "These Proofs are The Property of Jacobson Studio and Must be Returned," as well as the stamped number 13 and the written number 24. Print is in generally good condition, but there is the trace of an inky fingerprint in the right corner.

Description: Photo of a man standing in a rowboat on the shore of Bellingham Bay. Buildings and a ship is visible in the distance. Mounted on cardstock with a caption that reads: "View of "Bellingham" from "Fairhaven" taken in 1884. "Fairhaven" consisted of Dan Harris(in boat), his story-and-a-half, square-front building(now part of P.A.F. offices), a flag-pole and a tiny dock. The barque "Columbia" taking lumber cargo from "red" mill,(now E.K. Wood Co.). "Whatcom" in the distance and "Sehome" concealed by mill point." Included with this photo is a note that reads: "Bertha L. Harris-D: Nov. 20, 1888. 146.40 acres-Sold last parcels Apr. 9, 1889 to Bennett for $50,000."

Description: A battalion of soldiers piled into four cars and driving down a cobbled city street. Spectators visible on the left side. Formerly 2nd and 9th Co Wash Coast Art. from Whatcom Co. Last leave home before leaving for overseas June 1st 1918 from Ft. Casey. Reo touring cars." Included with photo is a letter from a Henry C. Juvet to Biery, explaining that the photo was taken by Mr. Sandison on Holly street in front of his studio.

Runaway logs are common...(cuts off)" Included with the photo is a letter from D.L. Fickel of Pacific American Fisheries to a H.W. Cameron dated 3/23/64, explaining that Biery had taken the photo the previous weekend.

Description: Newspaper photo clipping mounted on plastic and laminated, featuring two men leaning over a pier and observing damage done by a storm. Two buildings visible in background. Caption reads: "Survey Damage at PAF-Supporting piling at Pacific American Fisheries on South Side took terrific beating over weekend when heavy runaway logs were driven against them by strong northeast wind and high waves. Looking over some of damage are Erwin Hube (right), PAF chief engineer, and Harold Norberg, cannery superintendent. Cannery floor cracked when piling was splintered and Hube says damage will run "into the thousands." Broken piling shown in center. PAF power barge and gillnet boat were sunk by logs.-Herald photo." Written in ink is "Nov. 14-1955-J-" Included with clipping are two letters, one from Louis F. Jones to D.L. Fickel of Pacific American Fisheries giving the latter the photo for "his files," and one from Fickel to Jones thanking him.

Description: Group portrait of a large group of women, as well as a middle-aged man front and center. Dressed in 1930's-1940's era style clothing. Included is a letter that identifies the group as The Mother's Chorus and the man as their conductor, Paul Lusterman. It says the choir was a "result of the PWA, or one such agency." Taken around 1939. Two copies, one yellowed and faded, one appearing to be a copy of the original.

Description: Image of an entry in the 1929 Tulip Festival Parade. Several boys in "Middle Eastern" style garb carry a carriage labeled "239" with a girl inside. One boy and the girl look at the camera. Caption at bottom is partially legible and reads: "Tulip Festival...May 9-10-...Clyde Banks Photo." Included is a letter that identifies this as the Lincoln School's entry, the "Turkish Queen" float. The "queen" is Geneil Wasel Chevalier, who was a first grader at Lincoln school at the time. The boy who looks at the camera is Louis Turner, who was a sixth grader at the time and later became County Assessor. Photo taken at the corner of Commercial and Holly streets.
